Counselling

There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification, however, learners may find it helpful if they’ve already achieved a Level 1 qualification.

This qualification is useful for anyone who would like to develop their use of counselling skills for use in either work or a personal capacity; pastors, care-group leaders or any one in a supervisory role. These may be learners who wish to progress towards further qualifications or learners who wish to study this programme in order to complement other programmes (eg health and social care, children’s care, learning and development, voluntary and community work). This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 and above.

The Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills is internally assessed and externally Moderated.
