What does this qualification cover?

The full 1 year programme is accredited by the NCFE Awarding Body. It is the level 2 in counselling skills with added chaplaincy modules. In order to receive the Certified Professional Chaplain (CPC) licence the full diploma must be completed. The certification in chaplaincy and counselling skills will be awarded to those who complete all modules at level 2.

What are the Course Entry Requirements

Applicants should be 18 years of age or above and be proficient in English reading, writing and speaking. They should also have an interest in supporting prisoners and their families.

This qualification is suitable for anyone who feels a call to support individuals and families within the prison system, bringing hope and a future.

How is the course assessed?

To qualify learners must successfully complete a portfolio of written and be assessed on practical skills in placement. There will be internal and external assessment
